Premium caps may use more diodes, lasers instead of LEDs, or carry FDA clearance, and that's part of what you pay for. What you won't pay for here is the celebrity deal and the TV ad.

Each session is 20 minutes and the cap switches itself off. Most people wear it daily or every other day — pick a time you're already sitting still, like the couch, the desk or a gaming session. Consistency matters more than anything else.

Many of our customers are on a weight-loss journey and use LumaCrown as a drug-free addition to their routine. Shedding during rapid weight loss can have several causes, so if you're concerned, it's worth mentioning to your doctor.

Check with your doctor first if you're pregnant, photosensitive, taking medication that makes you sensitive to light, or have a scalp condition or open wounds on the scalp. Skip the pulse setting if flashing light bothers you. Not for use by children. Don't stare directly into the LEDs.

Slide the light panel out, then hand-wash the outer cap and let it dry fully. Wipe the panel with a dry or barely damp cloth — never submerge it or put it in the washing machine.
